Today was our neighborhood's semi-annual garage sale day. Since we had a garage full of stuff we no longer needed, we were more than willing to participate! It was a slow morning so the kids and I hopped in the car to check out everyone else's goods. E purchased a cool Nemo bubble blower for a $1 and H got a huge bag of Thomas trains for $1 from the neighbor on the corner. As an, um, added bonus the neighbor let the kids get some old happy Meal toys "free." Gee, thanks, we weren't trying to give away an entire box of our own across the street or anything!
While we were gone, C managed to sell almost all of our baby gear!!! He said he made $200, but I fear he may have just stuck his own money in the pile and gave the stuff away. I wouldn't put it past him, HA! it was a good think he got rid of all the big stuff because by 10:30, the heaven's opened up and rained out our sale. Still, we managed to empty out the garage and add $250 to our "Family Fun-d" jar!!!
