It is festival season here on the Gulf Coast and that means that Craig has been very busy working at events most weekends! This weekend was the 35th Annual International Shirmp Festival and of course, Craig had to be there to make sure people were drinking plenty of beer. I think he was feeling a bit guilty about being away from us so much, so he decided to take us along with him this time (oh, plus it was the SHRIMP Festival-there was no way I was staying home!!!)! Craig rented an adorable 2 bedroom condo right on the beach. It was beautiful and so relaxing. 
The kids had fun collecting seashells on the beach and wading in the water.
One evening before dinner they even dared a dip in the pool.
We could wander over to the festival whenever we wanted where there were art & crafts booths, amazing food, concerts going all of the time (even Quiet Riot, HA!) and an activity area for the kids. Oh, and on Sat. we met up with some friends who rencently moved to Mobile from B'ham.
PLUS, we could go into the VIP tent anytime we wanted to get out of the sun and grab something to eat or drink-super nice perk!
We all had so much fun spending time together as a family! It was soooooo nice to have a little mini vacation-only an hour away from home!

We've tried to get Ellie to take pictures but she's not real steady with the camera, HA!
