Today was Depot Day at our local train museum. There was food, a bluegrass band, new sets of miniature trains set up and all their regualr exhibits were open to the public. The last time we had visited the museum, Ellie was told that at the special open house, they would be running the small ride on train (she always asks if it's not running the day we're there)and she knew we just HAD to go! Sure enough, the kids rode that train around the track at least 15 times!!! Our unexpected treat of the day was getting to eat lunch in the dining car! As always, we had a great time...I'm sure we'll be back again soon. Maybe we'll even take Dad next time!
