We had the most wonderful fourth of July this year! We spent the morning and afternoon at the Birmingham Zoo. Craig has never been able to go with us, so it was a special treat to show Daddy all the cool stuff there. Hayden loved pointing out every bird we saw and shouting, 'duck!" It got to the point where the rest of us began to call all manner of winged creatures ducks!
After spending the day melting at the zoo, we went to a friends house for a small get together for dinner. The kids had a blast playing in the baby pool and the big "kids' got in trouble for setting off fireworks in the street. We ended the night by all making s'mores. It was a perfect day full of family, friends, and food!!!!
