Today while H was at preschool, E and I had the opportunity to tour our new Publix grocery store. The first stop, of course, was the bakery where all the kids and moms received cookies and the kids got their awesome looking hair nets! We then got to learn about the deli and the produce areas.
In the meat department, all the kids were super excited about the lobster tank. us moms were thankful the department manager didn't discourage the idea that the lobster were actually pets...
At the end of the tour, both moms and kids received goodie bags from the store manager. The kids' bags had a balloon, Publix stickers, a pencil, a pin, a coloring book and crayons, and an apple. Moms got an apple, plus some other information about the store, but the best were the coupons...love me some coupons!
