So we could have stayed longer in CO, except we told our neighbor that we were going to have a New Year's Eve party. Not wanting to be party poopers, even though she said she'd have the party, we made sure we were back with pleanty of time for our company. Most of the night the guys hung out in the living room with the kids and the ladies hovered over the food in the kitchen. After a while we decided we should all spend some time in the same room so we broke out Guitar Hero and Sing Star (a karaoke game, sounds strange, huh?).
Thankfully, no one seemed to mind making a fool of themselves and the kids had a blast dancing! Before midnight appoached, the kiddos started drooping so we tried to get them settled in front of a movie.
When it was just before midnight, we turned on the tv to watch the ball drop, but oops...they don't show the ball dropping for those of us on central time. We'll have to remember that for next year!!!
