Ellie is growing up right before our eyes. It's hard to believe she's going to be 5 in about a week, but then she goes and does something like she did today. After church, she sat down at the table with Gramma and proceeded to read the entire Green Eggs and Ham book to her Gramma. She read it all by herself except for a bit of sounding out prompting. She reads pretty well but refuses to read anything but her lessons for me so it was a surprise and a treat that she had the patience to sit with her Gramma and do that. I think it's officially the first book she's read on her own! I am such a proud momma right now!!!
