We have company! Well, we've had company for the last week, but they're family. My friend Lacey and her family came to visit on their way home from a beach trip. Her daughter Emily and Ellie are such good friends despite their 2 year age difference. They're always dressing up, dancing or bossing around their younger siblings. Payton and Hayden play decently well together but they're usually at the mercy of the older two!
It was great fun hanging out with Lacey. I miss having her just down the road, boo. We ditched the kids/husbands/mother for a couple hours and tooled around Target for a while. I showed her how to do Target the bargain hunter's way. We manged to score a couple good finds: set of 2 kids sunglasses for .48, grill brushes for .78, a grill rack for $2.48, a 17" x 23" dry erase cork message board for $7.48 (50% off), grated Parmesan cheese for $1.24. The cashier even complemented us on our stuff. It's a brand new Target, but they're slowly building their clearance items up.
After dinner everyone hung out a chatted until we were too tired to keep our eyes open. The kids danced like crazy fools-and maybe I did too for a little while! I love having such great friends- even though we're father apart now, we're still close enough to hop in the car and see each other without too much trouble. Woo-hoo ROAD TRIP!
Check out Hayden's sweet dance moves at the end of this video!!!
