Party Time-This Time H's

Yesterday we celebrated H's 3rd birthday! I wasn't in the mood to have an elaborate party so I decided to just invite the neighbors and a few close friends out to the local bowling alley to celebrate. Bowling is one of H's favorite things to do so we knew he would love this kind of party!




After an hour of bowling (the little ones are only 3 so they had just about reached their attention span limit) we headed back to our house for pizza, cake and presents. After all the "official" birthday stuff, everyone just hung out until it got late. It was so nice to have such a casual party, one where we knew everyone so well. I didn't t feel the need to "entertain" rather I could hang out and enjoy everyone's company. It was a great way to celebrate my baby getting one year older!
