The Museum

Today we went with our MOMS Club to a local museum downtown. the kids love it becasue the entire third floor is devoted to pretend play. I love it becasue it's free! Funny enough, the first thing E did upon entering the area, was to head straight for the ship to swab the deck...maybe I need to get an old fashoned mop and get her to work on my kitchen floors! The kids had a great time and outlasted all of our friends, so we went to check out some of the other stuff on the other floors. We're glad we did becasue there was an amazing doll house exhibit with a scavnger hunt to find objects located in the tiny houses. We also really enjoyed learning about a sunking ship that was excavated off the gulf coast. The kids thought the anchor was huge! To make a great day even better, E begged to go eat lunch at one of my favorite places, the Carribean Soup Company-YUM!!!
