Train-ing Day

Today is Aunt Jody's birthday and we were lucky enough to get to have lunch with her. The kids and I rode the Light Rail downtown and we ate at the Old Spaghetti Factory. It's a bit of a hassle to ride the train, but the kids loved the experience. After lunch, Aunt Jody treated us all to a piece of candy at the Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company, yum!



Tonight at Gramma and Pap's church, they had a special showing of the movie "Polar Express." After a dinner of pancakes, sausage, and hot chocolate with lots of marshmallows, we kid was given a special ticket to enter the "theater." As the went in the sanctuary, each ticket was punched with a star. Everyone got their own box of popcorn and some cookies. My kiddos were glued to the movie screen the entire show. Afterwards, as we were exiting the church, the kids were each given a special bell so that they always remember to "believe."
