As we were pulling in to the gates of the resort, we tried to figure out how many time we had visited this place, considering almost all meetings and conventions for AL/LA/MS/and NW FL are held here. I think the final count was that we, as a family, had been here 5 times and C had been here at least 3 more time on top of that! So you see, it has been a second home to us in the 4 years we've lived in the deep south.
What? No Noggin on this TV? I guess we'll settle for Animal Planet.
The best part of vacation-sleeping in.
The view from the top.
Didn't you hear? We're here for the pool!
Vacationing is hard work!
Exploring the "secret" island. We had just crossed the LOOOOOOOOONG bridge, when H exclaimed he needed to go to the bathroom. Guess who got to "water" the flowers....
Waiting to meet Daddy's boss for dinner.
It was a great little escape from our usual routines. It's amazing how familiar the resort has become to us all in the last few years. This trip, even E was telling H about all the things he was going to see before we got to them. She loved showing him the seashell sidewalk (they're imbedded in the cement) the huge beach chair (use your imagination), and most importantly the candy store!
We can't wait for C to have to work here again!
